There's an on-line vendor for camera bats...   www.bestbat.com

I've found that their $15 version of the bat for the Optio W30,
which the Mfgr sells for $40, lasts half as long per charge.

There's nothing to complain about in those numbers...???...but in result I
do in fact carry two spares rather than one.

Anyone got a better supplier?

I've found good prices on Ebay. Find your battery and then type OEM into the browser. Knockoffs are hardly ever good.
The fishing was so good I thought I was there yesterday!

Not just camera batteries, I bought a 2nd cell phone battery for Motorola Razor, some knock off brand at Fry's brand new (I hoped as opened it from the container)the battery lasted half as long as the orignal 2yr old battery it was to replace!  It's size rating is not that much different from the stock IE Old 500MAh vs 470MAh new.  So the new battery is kept in truck for spare if the old one should fail and I don't have charger cable.
