With the new job working for the feds (NOAA) and a new baby on the way, I feel disconnected to the "scene."  I need to get in the ocean, can't wait for ab season.

No baby on the way for me but I HEAR YOU Brother...I feel the same way.  Thanks for the congrats.

That was really sweet.
And not sweet in just a kind, feel good way, but also sweet as in "that was FRIKKEN SWEET".

Very cool. The sepia tone and slight bounce are totally, totally groovy.

Spectacular video for a deserving person.

that one made me cry

I'm glad the last few seconds were only audio as I was staring at the ceiling to keep the waterworks from flowing.

Thanks for the kind words guys. :smt003
I had to much caffeine late in the day, next thing you know it was 4am and I had a video.
As far as the emotional response  :smt010, for me the old time look makes you think of times and people from days gone by then the music hits you. I was kind of limited, as I only had maybe 6 songs on my pc to choose from. But it seems movies are made better with a cool sound track.

Again, very very true.  The music sets a mood that adds so much to the images.  I use music from my "roots" too.  Mom was a Pink Floyd fanatic in the late 70's, and the 80's songs bring me back to the fun times of my youth.

Everyone should make more movies.   :smt001

Not sure what the "formula" for sobbing your eyes out is but something thoughtful with pics of best friends past (chef) and present and hawaiian music definitely works for me!

Youtube is making it tough by muting copywritten (copywrited?) music. I have posted a couple of others only to remove them because they did not allow the soundtrack.  :smt011
I do love watching them back to back on the computer.
