One missing after fishing boat sinks off Año Nuevo

A small craft weather advisory for high winds and hazardous wave conditions was issued for the area until 4 p.m. Sunday as a Pacific storm system hit the California coast.

"We'd like for people to remember that advisories are put out there for a reason," [Coast Guard Lt. j.g. Simone] Mausz said.

Wonder what they were fishing for ?

It was a commercial crabber.

Is it really a "rogue" wave if a storm is coming in?

So sad.

Can't think of a worse place to capsize than Ano Nuevo!
