So, original plan was MOBL, but after hemming and hawing, installing a shelf, finding out that i'd be the only fool down there i decided i had three choices:
1) go anyway
2) do honey-dos all day
3) go to china camp

Of course chose 3.
Got bait, headed out to the launch. Wind was HOWLING off and (from S), loaded up, paddled out, and hid in behind rat rock (more or less didn't help).  Tide was just starting its anemic current, which ended up being a fairly decent current. Water color is perfect, but cold.
Suprisingly didn't get rained on. Not suprisingly was the only boat i could see, with the exception of one guy that briefly came in to hide, hung out a bit and then roared out.

Got a few bullheads, and a nice fat female 36+" leopard.  I took a pic, but not of the fish, so will post later.

it was a perfect way to cap off a wet & windy weekend (sat wet ride, sun wet again, monday windy).

I am planning on it, but the timing is gonna be hard- daughter naps about noon, and i have to be back at home about 4 for Pop's bday....so if she wakes up on time i'll do a drive by....
