My wife bought me a new Kenkor Panga rod 4'9" 10-40 test and a Shimano Calcutta 400bsv.  I think they're a pretty cool set up. So does my son.  He won't stop dragging it around the house.  Guess he thinks it's his new toy too.  Any one else tried this rod?
