Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

Damn, I got a .303 that is great on hogs!  Of course my favorite way of watching idoits hunt hogs was the num nutted individuals back in Texas who would hunt hogs with dogs then try to run along the hug and slit its throat.  Suffice to say the local ER Doc's and Vets stayed busy.

.303 Enfield?  Or Savage?

I have a few old battle rifles, love the .303 Enfield.

Too good to be true... that's a wrong number and the guy said he's had a couple other calls...

Too bad, so sad... my next scheduled hog hunt isn't until mid-April (Cooley ranch behind Lake Sonoma).

I may try to get out to a super-secret public-land spot in the next couple weeks though... anybody (experienced only) willing to share gas from the Bay Area during the week?  Leave at 4:00am sharp, come back when we're done...

Backcountry

p.s. No, this is not the public land at Lake Sonoma or Cottonwood... someplace different that is not supposed to have hogs, but I know it does because my buddy killed a couple there last year.

SMLE 1916 .303 with matching stock and reciver serial numbers, I would love to find a No 4 mk1 or mk2 with the ladder peep scope.  Orginal ones are Parker and Hales.  She kicks like a mule, butt I threw a slip on butt pad and she is far more managable.  She ain't pretty, butt she still whip on the "Hun" when called to duty.  what I love is to watch some one really skilled with it can work that bolt almost making you think it could fire full auto.  Very fast action for a bolt action.
