my first NCKA report!  :smt004 sadly, not much to report  :smt010

15-20mph winds with on and off drizzling

no nibbles, bites or fish between 3 rods during the 2 hours

live ghost shrimp and procure scents

DFG paid us a visit as we were setting up.  the warden told us she hasn't heard of any fish being landed there for the past 3 days. sounds like a hookup is long overdue!  should be worth a shot once the weather lets up.

Hey man, I've had some good times drinking hot coffee and sitting in the rain for the inevitable bank sturgeon skunk.  I like that place a lot and found a trick to fishing there.  Cast out and set up the rod perfectly with some fresh ghost shrimp.  Then walk away from your rod and waste time looking for lost sinkers in the rocks.  Then when you're least expecting it, you'll hear your reel's drag start screaming and by the time you get there, the fish is gone.  Well....not much of a trick but I've found a lot of sinkers and lost a lot of bites.  Good luck.
Good luck and tight lines.

yup!

i've done that plenty of times during low tide.  i probably have about 10 free sinkers under my belt, and at least 25 missed bites bc of it! lol
