Mako1 and I decided to hit Mendo on sat. before the next series of small storms comes in on sunday. To try and get a couple of smallies, started dragging minnows and throwing plastics till we found some takers landed one on a minnow and one on plastic and lost a couple more. Certainly not red hot but a beautiful day on the pond. This is my first post so hello everyone.

That would be me hauling my yak up a hill that should be under water.
Great day, I heard it hit 68 degrees in Ukiah, Feb sunshine felt a little warmer reflected on the water.
I got to take pics, Craig hooked all the fish.
I'm not taking him anymore.

Nice post. AOTY smallie too. Juan you are right. That looks like a long lug back to the truck. The moon is in the same position on the horizon as it was when we got to the beach at China Camp. Thats too cool knowing that we were getting off the water at the same times, miles and miles apart. Great first post.

I like that thought, Craig.  Good Times going down all around the north state, and we get to connect the vibes here.    :smt045

I tried to include more pictures in the post but didnt understand quite how to do it but I think I may have it figured out. Juan and I have been fishing together for years, I had to get a kayak to keep up. I am on the verge of selling my jet boat the kayak is a much more intimate way to fish. Thanks for the welcome Craig
