Lake Natoma 02/07

I will be fishing lake Natoma tomorrow from around 11am to sunset. 

Have you fished it before? I'm in Roseville but everyone tells me it's a tough place to catch fish.

I hear that from a lot of people.  For some strange reason I have always done rather well at Natoma.

Where are you launching? Negro Bar or Willow creek? What's your ride?

My son and I might be doing a bike ride around the lake tomorrow.

I will be launching from Negro bar, riding a blue WS pungo 100 (aka the ugly duckling)  . My main yak is out of commission for the time being (see "This happened to me").

i live in orangevale and fish lake Natomas religiously.

i like going bove the walking bridge to about where the lake seriously curves

then drifting down with the current popping a plain silver needlefish.

if you launch and go left away from the bridges then i toll using a side kick dodger

because parts of the lake get really clear and i feel to much flash ie: a regular dodger

is just too much.
