Got a late start this morning. On the water at 9:20am, off at 1:30pm.
Weather was great, water was smooth, fishing was slooooow. Saw one fish, 18 swans.
Spent the rest of the morning picking up floating trash on the east end of the lake.

You know it's a great day to be on the water when the biggest waves are from the swans.

Some good karma is definitely coming your way Al. Thanks for the cleanup duty.

Nice work, Al - that plastic sure is persistent...  :smt012  Good karma should come, but may not be in the form of a fish!   :smt002

The the one fish, 18 swans comment reminded me of the twelve days of Christmas song.

:thumright: Right on with picking up the trash.. people these days have no respect for our waterways. Its ridiculous how much of it I see on the American River on top of the water as well as at the bottom. Whenever I'm on it diving or kayaking I usually end up with a huge pile. Come on People! :cussing:

 Your little contribution to help protect that beautiful place really counts. My favorite trout lake. Sorry to hear the slow day. I just wonder what you were using.
