Anybody have any opinions on this unit? Reasons why I should or should not mount it on my Revo? So far I like the fact it is 1) waterproof/floats 2) has both salt/fresh settings 3) not that much more expensive than, say a Eagle Cuda 250.

I like the idea of the combo units but wonder about power consumption. I would think about a handheld backup GPS and at the very least, a compass as well.

I've had my yak for all of 3 wks. now and have been agonizing over all of the decisions one has to make getting it fishing ready. This site has been a VERY valuable resource and I thank all of you for giving your insight.
The fishing was so good I thought I was there yesterday!

I have the 343 and the 383,
Both use very low amps and with a standard lead acid battery (7ah) will normally last 2-3 days.
These are color units, never seen the 363 so not sure the diff but can't be much

I prefer the bigger screens of the 5 series units myself.  Also looking at the Humminbird site, it appears that unit is discontinued.
