I have seen a lot of big rig service trucks use that to set the tractor trailer tires.  Really cool to see.  Matt

I can't help thinking I would in turn find a gas leak somewhere in the engine I didn't know about.  :smt044 :smt044

Used that trick many times over the years during my wheeling days.  Sometimes it was real sporty! (too much spray)

I've never seen that one, I guess I led a sheltered life,  but go on ahead, I'll stand back a ways and watch.

The video is missing now, but let me point something out.  There might be a few people out there who have older trucks or will work with someone with an older truck with split rims.  Don't use the lighter fluid/starter fluid method on those.  Those older split rims are dangerous enough as it is, and if the bead on a split rim fails, amputation and death can happen.  My great uncle spent months laid up because his old farm truck had split rims and he was doing something with it and it let go, caught him in the head, he spent weeks in the ICU .  It has been years and his memory has never been the same.

Ideally if you are going to try it, use a tire cage if at all possible.

I can honestly say I get at least 1 Safety Of Use Messages on split rim tires where some one in the service was killed or maimed by those damn things.  They are not something to play with.

I bring this up because I see a lot of older trucks on the farms  when I am out and about.
