Leo and I fished north coast santa cruz. A boat we passed reported a big bait ball 1/2 mile out from just south of greyhound rock. maybe there's salmon out there, who knows?

Leo got a pile of gophers on squid (released) and a keeper ling with squid.

I came home with 27" ling and 17" copper(?) with 7" fishtrap, and scampi with squid.



also released 2 underlings, blue rockfish, small copper looking rockfish and a male kelp greenling. no fishfinders, probably we spent some time drifting over sand and eel-grass flats.
