I just got back from a week long fishing trip with Levi Lewis (Steeleader) to Cabo San Lucas.

Day 1. Monday.  We fished a super panga managed by Baja Boys captained by Victor.  We started out fishing just of the point outside the harbor for yellowtail, using live bait (pompanito).  We quickly boated 3 yellowtail to 10 lbs before the Navy chased us out.  Then we trolled for Dorado with squid jigs and boated a couple nice dorado.  We then went inshore and boated a few rooster fish and sierra.  We ran out of bait so we went offshore a couple miles where most of the fleet was slamming striped marlin.  We made bait and then decide to try some light tackle marlin action.  We had a double hook-up and they ran in opposite directions and we wound up in a marlin tug-of-war.  Crazy!

Day 2. Tues.  We fished aboard the Baja Raider a 33ftr again with Baja Boys fishing.  We hooked 7 marlin and boated 5.  The marlin bite was soo hot.  We where spot fishing and chasing down marlin boils.  Marlin where flying out of the water every where.  Birds where diving from above, we saw marlin chasing bait all over,  humpbacks where breaching.  What a day

Day3.  Wed.  We fished another panga and boated a few dorado, pargo, bonito, skipjack tuna.

Day 4. We focused more on pargo and boated 6 pargo, the largest going about 15 lbs. We had dog snapper, red snapper, and bared snapper.  They are pound for pound the hardest fighting fish around.

Here are some pix.  There will be more to come and a video soon.

Awesome!   I just got back from Cabo a couple weeks ago.   I fished from shore, but looking at your pics, maybe i should have gone out in a panga!   Definitely.
Thanks for the great report.
