Sorry for any confusion but we had a scheduling conflict at the hotel Rancho Leonero  on the trips with Sean White.
New dates are

Thanks for posting the revised dates Jim.  If anyone is interest, please let us know...it is impossible to get more relaxed than a week or so in yak fishing heaven.

Hey Jim,

What's better for down there?
If you mean the dates, it kind of depends on what you like.
May is a great time down there for the weather, I have a trip to Punta Colorada in May. Not too hot and good all around fishing.
July is the best when it comes to Roosterfish and very good all around but it is much hotter.
October can be a bit more humid but we have also had our best trips for the Billfish in this month.
All trips are weather dependant and I have have spectacular trips during all these months when the weather cooperates. Meaning no wind.
Even when the fishing is off or the weather keeps you off the water it is a great place to be to decompress.

The fishing in May is good, not as good as July historically but many people prefer may because of the cooler weather.

More good news, I just got off the phone with the Ranch and we have ordered 6 new kayaks. 3 prowler 13's and 3 prowler 15. This gives then a real nice size fleet.

Agreed.  July is a fairly safe bet that the fish we will be looking for have "arrived".  In May, species like tuna may or may not be on the scene depending on weather/water temps. etc.

Thrilled to hear a new fleet is on the way...that was long-over due.  Nice work Jim!!!
