HOLY TOLEDO and I met up at the river for some long awaited local river fishing. We ran into some of our fishing buddies that we hadn't seen since last spring due to no ocean salmon fishing this summer. The river was a little on the clear side  but the flow was perfect for the drift anchors we installed prior to our last trips to the Smith. The weather was perfect and really not that cold until the fog moved in later in the day....... another absolutely beautiful day on the water!

...and?!  Any fish?  I figure the clear water made it tough.  Time together on beautiful water like that though is very precious, catch or no - you guys have it down.   :smt001

Ah, so that's what you're up to! Looks like a nice day on the water, fish or no fish.

Thanks Allen I'm going tomorrow and the next and the next and the next and the next

How many boats were parked at the split?

Report from CS
Quote
Fished just below where Warm Springs feeds into the Russian this AM. River was really clear and had a lot of fishing pressure. Saw numerous drift boats float by and all reported no bites above. Saw 6 fish hooked, 2 landed. One 7 lb hatchery buck and one 9 lb hatchery hen. Both on corkies. Nothing for me, but it was a nice day on the river.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
