Made a last ditch effort for a sturgeon today at Montezuma.  On the water by 9am, the day was chilly and the fog never lifted.
Took full advantage of the two rod stamp and put eel on one rod, and grass shrimp on the other.  A few single taps on the line yielded nothing.  I did manage to catch a catfish (woohoo) on the grass shrimp rod.
At 5, I pulled the plug on the day and my AOTY '08 trail. 

Congratulations to all the AOTY participants, and most notably the top guys.  Good fishin'...
