btw, how do i get a list of the moderators(mods)? i'm not too sure about all the rules.  i come from a car forum with some pretty strict rules 

If it is a fishing report we will take it, banks, boats, tubes whatever. We are pretty mellow here as long as you don't personally attack someone, or generally cause chaos.

Welcome tinman.  No need to be paranoid around here.  It's ok that your post is commercial in nature... no need to couch it as non-commercial.

Contribute to the knowledge here and you're welcome to plug your wares.

There's a lot of traffic on this site and you might just talk to Bill about purchasing a banner ad or using Google Adwords to try to get your banner placed on the site.  That's a good way of giving back to the group if you are getting some sales from the visitors of the site.   Also there are lots of opportunities to donate schwag for raffles or tourney prizes which is a good way of giving back while getting your name out there.
