Anyone know anything about fishing Oyster Point for sturgeon?  I've been hearing some decent reports out of there for the last week and was interested in taking a shot at it.

Although the weekend wind forecast seems a little bit worrisome.

I don't have my fishfinder installed yet either so I would have to fish blind.  Anyone else up for a trip?

I'll join you at OP if you are going.  If you dont feel like lugging your boat over here, you're welcome to borrow my P15, i can use my Scupper pro.  Do you have a snare?

Ben, Oyster Point can be good for sturge - keep an eye on the reports for activity.

The area can also be a beast when it gets windy. Since it usually blows west,
it's offshore & can take you to Oakland in no time. I went out one time last year
when even some of the PB's were calling it quits. Maybe not the best decision but
I wanted the exercise & paddling practice - and a workout I got!

Just watch the wind forecast & go when it's reasonable (like anywhere else). I'd be
up for a trip out there - it's just down the street from me.
