Humminbird 565 Fishfinder

I got this from my wife for Christmas, is this good FF for kayak? I need your input guys!!!

Put the question to Pat R. He just rigged his T13 with the 565.

I just installed the 565 in my T13 so far so good it has amazing detail my only complant its not real dark but I have not played around with the contrast yet, and the mounting bracket is great easy on and easy off no wires to mass around with. I run a 10AA battery pack no problem with battery drain, have fun with it.
