I want to take a friend out tonight for stripers on the beach...he has a one day license and today's the day. Anybody know if the stripers are in at any of the beaches outside the Gate?
 Thanks,
 Andrew

on the beach stripers are like ghosts, most reports are too old to do much good. linda mar, baker and china beach are closed at night.  if i had to pick a beach tonight, i would fish ocean beach.

I'd stay in the bay-- maybe hit up loch lomond marina, san quentin rock, or paradise cay-- tides are perfect for a late evening bite
