Mahi, sorry dude, I didn't intend on insulting anyone.  I was just pissed.  This guy slandered my home town that I love, a place where I spent the most enjoyable times in my life.  I just don't understand why anyone would do that.

As I said, you could go to the worst parts of any major American metropolitan city and make that film.  It is an outright untruth and any honorable and credible journalist would never make it.  So why is it that he would focus on the unseemly like that?  It seems perverted to me.

As for the quality of the membership, Sean (SBD) invited me to this site I think 3-4 years ago and I've been contributing regularly since then, although I used to go by the moniker "Pescadore."  My point is that my opinions aren't new here.

This echoes my sentiments exactly. Only thing different is that I wasn't directly invited here by Sean, but I found NCKA via Sean's GWK website.

The only thing I apologize for is if I inadvertently offended you, Mahi, or anyone else, but particularly Mahi, because I respect you from what I know about you from this site.

Maybe I also have a little regret in replying to this thread at all since it has nothing to do with fishing, as KZ pointed out. I don't want to be a part of any degradation of the site, and I know Z had no such intentions, either. As for my comment about the airport restrooms, that was intended as a lighthearted jab at O'Reilly with a Larry Craig reference thrown in. Sorry if it came off as insulting beyond that.

I'm thinking Mr. Bill secretly wants to get a little action in SF.

  He'd do better to hang out in airport restrooms frequented by conservative congressmen & senators!

Let me start with apologizing about leaving out a couple of words in my post, as my intent was to say,.....The posting of some of the membership.......

I still have no hard feelings about anyone on this site, but I think some of the forum areas have drifted away from my personal beliefs.

I do still like the original post by Z-man in this thread. It doesn't shock me, as that is the element I am used to seeing, I seem to be able to find it anywhere I go. It's like your first drink of whiskey...it's a shock, but after a you get used to it, you can tolerate it and actually come to embrace it.

Wow, I havent posted on here for about a year and a half.....
Mostly because I am so poor my kayak wont stay afloat and I have to ride my mtn bike 3 miles to the publioc library to get on the internet...lol...

But one thing I do know is back in the day we posted about fishing, hooking up to go fishing, "pimping our kayaks" to go fishing...

And fishing....



Leave O'Reilly and Limbaugh and NPR and even ESPN out of here..
