has nothing to do with fishing but I just wanted to throw out there that a kayaker paddled the length of clear lake from redbud park to lakeport. those who know the stretch will realize that Dennis did it aginst the wind and into 17 miles of chop. I only mention this due to it being on a boat that I had bought from SBD and then sold to him. The malibu 4.4 aka the red rocket.  I used to fish on it at mendo for the striper experience, but loaded with gear this boat was   hmmmmmm
challenging.
I have a picture of the boat but unfortunatley its of me and not of the man who did the trip.
Dennis rocks!

I don't think I could carry enough Red Bulls to make that journey happen.   :metal

on a downer
one of the team bridgeport guys dislocated a shoulder today riding waves at Doran beach.
he said he felt some discomfort after bracing into his first wave then later a wave forced him into a high brace and IT happened.
There was alot of pain and vomiting but the shoulder is relocated and he can go to work on monday.
KWs got skills and it happened to him and can happen to any of us who get swept up by a wave whether it is with intent or not. beware this season of the rogue.
Kdub is a true kayak kindred and has contributed some great fish for my reports, send him some healin vibe so he can get back in the yak.
