Sat pumphouse area...

scrapping my muir trip-- after looking at forecast for 8-13 feet swells, and seeing the muir cam..

So, i'll be on the water about 7:30 launching from China Camp/Bullhead flat...not sure if i'll paddle to pumphouse or just anchor up off Ccamp somewhere.

i have to be at home by 1pm for kid duty...

6-8 ft west swell could make for a tough launch out of Muir.

yah-- 6-8 is about the limit, but the ace in the hole is that i wasn't planning on launching from muir proper but from the nude beach (N side), where the  W swell tends to be broken up by the wash rock and the point....
