adapter for different size RAM mount balls?

Anybody know if there is some kind of adapter to use a RAM tube rod holder that needs a 1 12" ball on a 1" ball mount?    Or maybe some way to make an adapter?     I have the mount from my gps in a perfect spot for an extra up front rod holder but the ball size is different.   

use a longer screw and it should work.
