I was on the beach at Stillwater on Sunday at 10am and it was extremelly rough westerly swell breaking on the beach.  I was suprised to here these guys went in.

Really to bad..

I just read that article. It's a shame, but he should NOT have been out in 14 foot swells. What was he thinking? I've had close calls with kelp in calm water. I can only imagine what the surge would be like in 14 foot swells.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

We dove there the day before but it wasn't rough in the morning when we were in the water. We fished Friday when it was even calmer and I did my first yard sale. The surf wasn't big so I guess I was not paying close attention. My floating Uniden Voyager was found on the bottom (not floating) by Jason.
