No fish...  But I did make a new convert, I think...  Met up with my beach pounding pal Barry at the launch at 8:15 Sunday, and saw Relentless Dave was already on the water.  After hanging around the launch a bit to make sure he was comfortable, we headed out to the end where Dave was, but none of us caught anything.  I think Dave had a good takedown and there were reports of fish heard over the radio, so I guess there are fish still around.  Saw lots of bait and birds working, but that was it.

I felt a bit bad once the tide turned and we had a long paddle back, but Barry did pretty well for his first time out, (for a surf fisherman).  The current was really ripping around the opening, was the only rough spot of the day.

It was a beautiful day on the bay, though.  Weather could not have been better.

Thanks for the report Eric B. Your friend Barry already looks like a pro side saddling on his yak.
