Since i said i wasn't gonna post reports anymore-- until that last thread-- and how many folks actually use them. i'm gonna report a non-report....LOL

Got a last minute hall pass of 2 hours, right at the top of the tide - so launched in the back of the cove, after nearly not getting to park due to the marin triathalon. Trolled the stacks for nothing- though the water was beautiful, green and clear, and there was tons and tons of Xrap 8 sized smelt around.  Ran into two others at the current line who had a single hook up as i was approaching. They reported that the water up at Sisters was clogged with algae.
I doubled back and made a beeline for the cut between the islands. There had been a PB sitting in the cut on the E side of it, for about 20 min, who took off as i approached...so I aimed for the rip on the W island. Bang-- that's one (dink of course). the two i'd seen ran RIGHT over the rip/ridge on the East side of the cut (you know what that means)...SO, Turn around run back up the same line, bang got that guy's twin brother. Another pass for nothing.
Bent around the front side of the west island and headed for "bird rock" planning to spend my final 20 min paddling along the san pedro rd rip rap.  One drag burner just in front of the rock that i LDR'd, and that was it.

How's that level of detail?

Sorry no pics....

Nice detail!  I saw you out there - nice try.  I have a little more time on my hands (in between jobs - hopefully not for long!) and am going to try to get out there...
