Wow, brings back some memories for sure. I had the good fortune of fishing along side Bill for a few years. Learned a lot from that man... He was amazing!! Thanks for sharing. Looks like great stuff for sure.

Mostly that gang hit the Smith, Eel, and Chetco I remember reading an atricle in Outdoor life in the seventies when I was in high school written by Russ Chathum called The River of Kings. and I always wanted to fish it after that. Several years later I started hitting the Smith every year and got to know several of the guys that are probably in that video. They were the pioneers for sure. Used to love to listen to the stories of the "good Ol Days".... Great bunch of guys for sure. A lot of them have passed on now. If you want a GREAT read of the local coastal fly fishing. Pick up a copy of "The Angler's Coast" by Russ.
