Ok just for Ray and I. Since we were the only ones out there.

I took my cousin Ray out to my favorite spot and he hooked up with a nice keeper within the first 15 minutes of fishing. Weather was perfect, but the stripers were scarce but still there. We found the strays, but we both had a nice double on but I lost mine right at the kayak. We both caught a legal. And mine sure fought good for it's size, stripping drag and everything it should do! Pics soon, uploading pics.

Jeff,
Thanks for the report, it will be very useful on Sunday.
I lived in Modesto for many years and worked at F.W. for 15 years before moving to Fresno.
Those pictures remind me of the many days I have spent in those exact same spots in the early days when nobody new there were fish there. We had days when we would catch 20 - 30 fish all over 15lbs.
I remember telling a coworker about it and he put it in the report and the next week there were 37 boats there.
Fortunately the hype has calmed down in that area since than.
My sources say the big ones are still in that general area, , hopefully we can find them on Sunday.
Good Luck to all,
Eric
