Jim-Shimmy has a drift anchor on his Maurader and it works extremely well.

Hey Jim here are the pics of my set up its just a piece of alum that I had leftover from something. I cut a hole for the drain plug and drilled a couple holes to screw into a backing plate inside. The rear end is kicked up so the anchor clears the H2O. There are a few line guides and a quick release cleat that I also use for my sturgeon anchor. You can deploy and lift the anchor easily w/ one hand.

If I make another one I would probably use alum. tube on a mounting plate.
