Headed up to UV solo for hopes of a kokanee.
Looked good when I arrived.
The time between arriving and launching the wind picked up real good, as usual.
Marked a ton of fish by Butt Crack rock near Jones Fork but no love. Tried trolling and jigging with a variety of everything.
Now is the time for a scenic drive to the Crystal Basin. Just beautiful this time of year.

arrival conditions
launch conditions
dust storm in 'protected' area
tons of webs blowing around

Nice pics.  I took my yak up there once this summer not too long after I got it.  (My personalized picture is from there)  I just love that area, can't spend enough time there.  So where exactly on the lake is this rock?

When the water is low it is at the mouth where Jones Fork comes in.
TONS of fish on the FF there.

I never knew that jones fork dumped into Uv. I used to fish that creek with my Dad way up by Wrights lake with real small spinners. Looks like good water. I suppose the lake has turned?
