why are the fish skinny?  Shad populations not doing well?

How is the bait at mendo shop?  Or did you guys bring from somewhere else?

152 SUMO... Per Hydrospider BIG minnows are in BIG demand but very short in supply due to storms east of us????  I hear the minnows at the bait shop on Lake Mendo are small also.

The stripers were all sucked up, no bait inside their bellies.  All were let go.  The LMB looked as if it was at deaths door step, and had a nasty slime, and NO belly.  It looked like some filleted it and put the skin back on.

I am curious, why skinny/slimy?  Something wrong with the water?  No forage for the stripers or lmb?
