Northern California 2008 Picasso Open Sept. 27

Is Eric Anderson the guy that wrote a book on GWS?  I went to his house once and he had a bunch of shells in his study that he had on display.  These shells have a plastic ab foot made to look like the actual animal.  I remember one that had a shell like a helmet and the food was at least four or five inches out of the shell. 

I also remember watching a special on PBS about the Japanese ab divers out of monterey.  They said one old timer got an abalone that weighed 25lbs.
