Hello folks,

Finally some kayak fishing. Original plan was the rock wall with my next door
neighbor but too windy this morning. So we decided to go for an early striper
chase. Early morning was fine then around 11:00 am, the wind was just too
much for us. Bait of choice was smelt which quickly died on us as soon as
it hit the water and also some mudsucker. I guess the water in Napa does not
have enough salt in it. Water temp. reached 74 deg. Oh! no fish for us today.
I'm hoping to fish again Monday but don't know where yet.
