I met up with Rob from http://www.mammothkayaks.com/ great guy let me and my Girlfriend Mary barrow some kayaks not only that but put us on some great fishing. This happened to be my girlfriends first time fishing from a Yak she has played around on mine but never fished. Rob and myself paddled to his spot and seemed to be non stop trout action on quality trout.

My first Trout of the kayak and it was a blast on 2lb test.

Rob with a nice rainbow an him trying to decide which rod to real in first after MULTIPLE time of him haveing fish on both rods it did happen to me once which I was happy with.

Rob had to run and help out with the family so I went back to the shore with him and got my girlfriend it was a little too cold this morning so 8 was good enough for her to start heading out she was stoked that she got a pink kayak.

Her fighting her first yak fish.

Her and her biggest catch of the day so I guess it was her biggest off the yak.

Then me with this beauty.

Thats it for for today two more days. There should be some more to come.
Here are some scenic shots for some of you to enjoy. But I must say that you should come up here and fish with Rob. Thanks for hooking me up. My girlfrind says Thank You as well...

All fish caught on the POWERBAIT

Also fished Owens river and managed a few more fish but was nothing compared to the action that Rob put me on.

Great report and it brings back good memories for me. I haven't been there in about 30 years and need to get back. I miss C&R ing all those trout. Growing up, 50 fish days weren't uncommon. I didn't have a kayak back then, but now I do and need to get up there. Maybe next year.
