So sorry to hear of this :smt010. It's good that you observed something wasn't right and took the time to assess the situation. You were smart by not placing yourself in danger, and was able to call for assistance. This type of post is sad but necessary to remind us all that anyone of us could be faced with a situation like this. You did everything right Eugene. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to fishing with you soon.

You did a good job there Eugene. You did the best you can and I'm so proud of
you. Thanks for posting that unfortunate incident. I am sorry to say but, I don't
think I would have know what to do If I were in your shoes.

San Jose Mercury News reported that the diver rescued in Pacific Grove was NOT dead, but unconcious. They didn't give his current condition, but that's certainly positive news.

Eugene, you may have helped to save this guy's life with you emergency call..

Lets hope for a good outcome!!

Good job on the level-headed response, Eugene.

Hope for the best for the diver.
