Hi there,

I'm pretty new at this since I just got a Manitou II kayak.  I was wondering if there are any good launch point for fishing within San Francisco.   There seems to be places around the San Francisco bay area, but I couldn't find anything on launching in the city.

thanks,

Jerome

Do you know how to self rescue with a Manitou?  If you don't, be prepared for a long swim in cold water, without your boat (boats full of water are near impossible for a swimmer to push or pull).  If you are new, you might want to get started with that particular boat in freshwater, and learn how to get in and out of it in deep water.

The current and chop at Chrissy field can sometimes swamp a boat likes yours unless you are wearing a skirt.
