I have this Sat (23rd) off & I need a Halibut.
I know the temp is going down already, but the tide is good & there should be less wind.
I'm thinking about the Berkeley Marina, but the 580 bridge or Paradise might be better because of the west wind.
any ideas? :smt012

I would like to try if diving at shell beach is blown out. That is the shell beach by goat rock. I have never made bait in the bay and would like to try that. It looks like the swell will be increasing during the last half of the week. Whrer would you like to fish? Are they still catching at alameda rockwall? Keep me posted as I will you. Thanks, Craig

I am interested in fishing for butts.  I am a newbie and my kayak doesn't have a FF installed yet.  If you still don't mind me tagging along and willing to share your fishing wisdom with me, I will be there.  Let me know!

Hey Naoaki

I'd  be interested in hooking up for some halibut Sunday morning if you're still planning on going out. From the reports it sounds like the buts are still all over the bay, so I'm down for paradise or Berkeley. Let me know if you're still interested.

Hi Craig, how deep you found Abs at shell beach?  I fish there before, but never dove there.

I'm no expert of fishing and I'm hoping somebody can help me too, but you're more than welcome to join me.  I'll getting bait at Loch Lomond in San Rafael
at 7am, so if you wanna meet me there we can caravan together there.

Oops! I Meant Saturday, not Sunday.  :smt003

I can meet you at Loch Lomond on Saturday morning if you would still like to hook up. I haven't been there in a while, but are you talking about the bait shop that is out toward McNears Pier?

We went today...2 butts 26+27" for two of the four of us. Get the shinners...they were the hot bait. They made bait there, but it took awhile and no smelt were found. We are gonna do shore BBQ there after fishing....don't know what but, if you guys are planning to chill for a whle, bring something small&easy....I'm thinking Dogs\hotlinks swimming in a big ol' pan of HoneyBakedBeans.
Allen/ottobepelagic +Patrick/ HOLY TOLEDO and myself will be there too........Jonesz/ Glen is a maybe.
Naoaki~~~I'll call you at 700, I need a few shinners ol' buddy!
