Elk Raffle - Coastside Wins Big - Holy Toledo!

Holy Toledo... did we ever raise a nice chunk of money to support Coastside and the Partnership for Sustainable Oceans!

For the fourth year in a row, we topped the prior years fundrasing proceeds!  In 2005 we raised $600 for Coastside… in 2006 we raised over $1600… in 2007 we raised the bar to $3,015.  I really didn't  know if we could top it again this year... but we did!

This year's raffle raised a whopping $3275!

First of all, a huge thank you goes out to everyone who dropped down some serious cash to support Coastside in this important fundraising effort.  NCKA proudly supports Coastside and PSA 100% and this sort of fundraising really helps to turn those words into action! 

Secondly, huge props to all of the sponsors who generously donated to the prize pool this year. By rough calculation, we gave away around $2500 worth of prizes this year in our longest list of prizes to date!  I've listed the sponsors below... you all have a choice in who you do business with... so choose to do business with friends of Coastside first!

Thirdly, huge thanks to all of the NCKA members who personally donated prizes for the raffle in addition to buying generous amounts of raffle tickets.  Your generosity is incredible and I'm sure inspired others to pony up the dough in style!

Finally, I'm very happy to see this year's custom rod go to a very deserving individual... one who will surely put it thorugh it's paces and get the most out of it... none other than Holy Toledo!  Congratulations to Patrick and all of the other prize winners.    And for those who didn't walk away with prizes,the protection and preservation of our fisheries is the prize that keeps on giving!

      Strong work on the raffle Senor Kunz and all those that donated as well... You put ALOT of effort into it and it shows with the grand totals growing each year.  I am loving the rod and am excited to fish a fabled Kunz stick.
