I'm thinking of heading up tomorrow to Fort Ross...Anyone else interested?

I've never launched a kayak there...how is the surf in general? Is the Reef Campground the place to do it? I've never been down there, although I dive for abalone at nearby spots. I understand the loading zone is away from the parking zone...if anyone has any helpful hints about parking and launching, I'd appreciate it, and company is always nice.

Thanks,
Andrew
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...
