Anchovies in SC Hbr 7/17/08

Driving over the bridge tonight I noticed the aerator pumps going in Santa Cruz harbor - a good sign that the place is choked with 'chovies - they don't want them to all die off and stink up the place.  So if you go out of there, you'll at least have bait.

They were all over the place today. At one point, there were three different bait balls within a half mile of the harbor, each with its own cloud of birds.
