Went to Loch Lomond Reservoir yesterday. Got there around 0800. Trolled flashers with nightcrawlers.  No hits for about an hour and a half.  Figured the trout might be sitting deep in colder water.  Went to the dam end of the lake and added an ounce of weight above the flashers, then fished 60-70 pulls out.  Trolled next to the roped off area.  Ended up with a limit of trout by 11:15.  Many hits, could not really keep two poles baited.  Nice day on the lake.

They are doing craft inspections.  Be sure the inside of your yak is dry.  Towel is out before you go, it will save you a lots of B.S.

I hear small bluegills are starting to show, so probably not many more good trout days left.  congrats on getting one!

Native,

There's an  species of mussel that can cling to boat hulls and once introduced into a reservior, can reproduce very quickly and ultimately clog the pumps and valves.

They are inspecting all boats and yaks, if the inside of your yak shows any moisture, they can forbid you from launching.
