Wel...I stopped by the bait shop at lake mendo and they do have minnows.

They are on the small side right now, but Alma (the gal behind the counter) said an order of jumbo minnows should arrive in about three weeks.

Party on,

Slammer

The area code is 707. I do see a lot of gang banger types hanging out in the parking lot of the store since they opened up. Hope that will pass.

CHEERS!

Crank some classical music over some outside speakers. That will get them to 'dispurse in an orderly fashion'.

The block-party size CS fogger is more fun.

That's right...... Thanks Jack!   It even looks better? :smt003 and those Minnows look DELICIOUS!!(i'm pretending i'm a smallie  :smt007 )
now I can plan a trip up there, after this heatwave has passed though.....i spent a FULL day there, a few weeks ago, it was hot and I had the whole lake to myself.(two other boats) I targeted SMB along the dam and into CrappieCove. Dropshot and Fluked for 5LMB  avg.2-3lb.
IT was TOUGH!....I went with full confidence I could find and hook one.

Copy that F.H.

A slow bite during a heat wave will give the hardiest of anglers a serious
gut-check. I've spent many a day out there doing little more then working on my tan.

Let me know when you're in town,

S.
