Make your Hawg Trough float

Believe-it-or-not, our plastic AOTY Hawg Troughs will not float.  To solve that issue, take a strip of foam, glue it into the slots on the bottom, and trim it flush with a knife.  Now, I don't have to worry if my trough falls overboard.  It'll even float right side up, so you measure fish in the water.

Good suggestion, Chuck.  I was just envisioning my trough sinking to the bottom the other day on the water!   

    Good Idea Chuck, But I hope our Hawg Trough "extenders" (LOL) do the trick. Probably going to fill in the voids on the back with expanding foam as someone else (forgot who) posted. I really don't want to add any more lanyards than I need to in case (inevitable) of capsize.

I filled the gaps underneath with a bead of silicon.  Floats great and it helps prevent it from sliding around..
