Good report , pictures and nice looking fish guys.

Overall it is an easy river to navigate sans one or two sets of rapids. One of them being the San Juan Rapids.

Tote's right there are couple of areas that will need to be navigated though..

FYI ... If your floating down through San Juan Rapids make sure you stay to the far LEFT within a foot or two of the shore and paddle the whole way through other wise I'll be picking up some new fishing gear the next time I go diving.  :smt001 If you don't paddle the back current will end up spinning you around and dumping you.

Another area to look out for when the water flows are down is between Sailor Bar and Sunrise. It gets really shallow and fast with possiblity running a ground and flipping over. I have seen this happen several times.

This is a picture I ended up taking on Sunday when I got skunked fishing for Shad.. This is a Local ... Nothing beats the wild life on the American especially in the mornings and evenings when everything and their moms are out.
