Took a friend that hasn't been fishing fo almost a year down to our old little spot on a a creek way out in the middle of nowhere. I let him use my pole and tackle and watched him catch his 1st bass of the year on a Texas Rigged Robo Worm. Weighed just at 2lbs. We had some good laughs at some missed hooksets and funny animals that were swimming around in the pond. He only caught one bass but had a lot of good bites that didn't stick. Can't wait to get back out there. I on the other hand was playing with some bass bait I caught on my fly pole. Bumble be fly with a small split shot. Almost as small as my bluegill swimbait!

Yeah! The biggest bass we have pulled out of there so far is 3lbs. There is also Crappie, Catfish and Carp in there as well

Nice Lil'Report&Shots!  :smt001 I see things "buzzin" on top of the water, while paddlin around and think to myself, is it gonna get hit?
Puttin someone on a fish is MORE rewarding than hookin it yourself.....for a while anyway :smt002

First one was a green sunfish I believe.

Second looks like a redear/green sunfish hybrid.

Fun all the same.
