My DIY kayak cart for my Tarpon 140

Simple cart I made. Cost for parts was about $30. Wheels are large plastic lawn mower wheels. Might not do that great in sand but does great for boat ramps etc. I am making it to come apart into two long pieces which fits in the front stow away hatch. Weighs about 3 pounds. I still haven't finished it as I need to make some pins to hold the two pieces together. I like it because it holds onto the kayak around the keel and also protects it too. I will have a parts list and sizes with a how to as soon as I get all the straps and pins made.

Thanks, I know it's nothing special. it holds some pretty good weight. It is made all out of SCH40 PVC. It works for me, I will be putting it to the test here pretty soon to see if it holds up.

That's pretty sweet. Carts need to able to be stowed in the hatch, IMO. Now, if it could only support those fat balloon wheels...
