Arrived before 8am and noticed some bozo really screwed up the dirt launch at the east end...ugh. Oh well, I can work around it.

The new Mini fits nicely in the truck bed. Sooo easy to load.

First fish on the new boat is a little one.

Caught a few more little bass. Fun fish and better than a skunk. Didn't take pics of each one 'cuz they all look the same.

And then something happened. I was sitting in the little cove on the south east side of the lake. I noticed something moving in the water. I stopped and watched...it's a big bass swimming slowly towards me. I don't move...it gets closer..closer... then BAM! She hits me. I mean it, she actually hits me, and it was more of a BONK. The fish ran right into the side of my kayak. I reach over the side and lip her. This fish wasn't very healthy. 21 inches of smelly bass. Took the pics and let her go. She'll be food for the crawdads soon. Sad to see a big beauty go out like that. :smt010

Looks like there'll be a lot of fish in that Mini's future. Way to break her in Al.

Al where were you?  That is indeed odd behavior.  Maybe she was trying to mate with you in your mini.
