I decided to break in my new ride :smt007 today at lake Del Valle also testing out some equipment I have been installing on it, Depth finder, downrigger anchor system for the back and so on. Sorry back to the fishing report, my nephew, first time in a kayak managed to hook up two stripers ( I think he’s hooked, another to this madness :smt044) my score was 3 stripers two trout and lost 2 others we where trolling jumbo minnow on one side and I was trolling a Seps sidekick dodger in watermelon and a brown grub on the other. I did talk with some other boaters, they did pretty good on trout using a red rooster tails and a small rapala brown trout. Not to many boaters on the water today witch made it nice, water was high and clear a great day.     Ho ya all fish where real least un harmed :smt003

NICE Job! I like your style, fishing for different species at the same time  :smt002  I'm booked for memorial day weekend for some camping. Gonna be there next Friday - Monday fishing morning and night!  Hope I do as well as you did, testing!  :smt005

Nice work Pat - even a better job at infecting the NCKA madness to the younger generation :smt002

By the looks of the pics, I say you were at "Valentines Cove"  :smt003
